kudos to Dubya!

It is no longer an opinion, but historical consensus, that George Bush the second is the worst president in US History. I'm going to look at the best thing he's done, and will leave it as an exercise to the reader to determine the best of what other presidents have done.

Put simply, it is the Do Not Call List -- it saves the everyday population many unneeded telephone calls. Also, it saves corporations from calling people who really, really don't want to be called.  It's ingenious, and something truly innovative.

So Kudos to Dubya, he did ONE thing right!

True...I DO love the Do Not Call List.

No way. No how. No McCain.

An Explanation: (2.00 / 1)

I was saying that we ought to be all love and smiles to the "other side of the democratic party's choice"  -- even if we weren't in the primary.

The person I was talking with responded in the negative, saying that would mean we'd have to say nice things about bush.

So I took the challenge, and wrote a bush loving diary!

His head is bowed. He thinks of men and kings. Yea, when the sick world cries, how can he sleep?

Good on you (none / 0)

And I certainly wasn't against the idea of conciliatory statements.  Only that we shouldn't feel obligated to make them.

To add to your diary (sorry I missed it when it came out), I thought Bush's line "the people who knocked down these buildings will be hearing from us soon" was nicely phrased.  None of the moronic hyperbole or dismissive labeling (terrorist, islamist, islamofascist, etc.) that we've come to expect of him since.

That about does it for my praise of Bush.

Re: kudos to Dubya! (2.00 / 1)

His current rating is actually 2 points LOWER than Richard Nixon's were on the day he resigned.
HAHAHAHA, and he's always talking about his legacy- the Bush administration will have a legacy alright, but not the one he was looking for.
"Who are you for? That is the wrong question. It should be who is for you?" HRC
